What is different in Emotional counselling and psychotherapy is that we encourage emotional expression, helping our clients to recognise and feel their feelings, instead of talking about events in their lives. Cognitive-affective integration is neccessary, but without feeling painfull and touching feelings, there cannot be real cure. This approach belongs to a group of “deep feeling therapies.”
